Welcome to the iPod family! Set your clock and stay up till midnight. Keep your iPod turned off. It will light up, two times usually, and then turn itself off. Think of it, iPods all over your time zone are doing the same thing.

I would refuse to buy an iPod from Best Buy just because of the way they abandoned Macs a few years ago. Now that Apple has a top selling item on the market, Best Buy all of a sudden feel the need to embrace the company they shunned back in 2000. Fu*k Best Buy!!!

I still buy my DVDs there, though - LOL.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Do you even know the employee discount and how good of a deal the 4 year plan is? It's good. But then, CUSA has one too. I'd like to get one.. at least then if I drop my iPod and it goes berserk I can get a new one for a fraction of the price.. and if I don't, in four years or whatever, then it's a small price to pay for security. Don't want to throw $450-500 down the drain.
actually, Best Buy didn't abandon Apple, Apple dumped Best Buy. their biggest problem was that BB employees would be lying to customers to scare them into buying service plans. that's where they were making all of their margins. i used to work as an Apple Rep. at a BB in MN, and they were horrible.
when we gave our feedback to Apple, there were a lot of complaints about the BB employees. next thing you know, the iMacs are pulled.
I was in bestbuy admiring the imacs when they had them, and there was quite a few other people asking questions and looking to buy one. needless to say the sales-boy "ripped" the imacs to peices and was trying to sway the people to purchase pc's, he was talkin' so much trash... I stepped in and and set the record straight like any true mac enthusiest would, and they decided to get the imac.
I was a knight in shining armor for apple, sorta running my own little switch campaign.
How have people found the new scroll wheel? Does the fact that it doesn't actually move, feel strange?</strong><hr></blockquote>
It does not feel strange at all, I promise. It is really nice, just use a soft touch and life is good. It is just like using the laptop trackpad (roundness not withstanding). In short: get one!
