iPhone 4S network problem

Hi,

I'm Mattia from Italy, I have an iPhone 4S, recently I changed battery and upgrade my OS with iOS 7.1 in the same day, but now I have an annoying problem with network, the line (I do not know what you call it) is always low or non-existent, like "no service". Looking at another iPhone 4S in the same zone with the same telephone operator, the difference was huge! Me with a pallet marker and him with all. Moreover if I active the Internet connection and 3G the line increases; I already tried restoring with iTunes but the problem persist! Please anyone can help me?
