Downgrading ipod?

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
Anyone know if it is possible to downgrade the iPod and where I can get the iPod firmware 1.04? Before 1.1 my iPod was flawless, after that and 1.21 now it has been giving me errors, like battery discharging over a few days and the iPod freezing and locking.

    Argh, damn, it doesn't let me install the older firmware. I guess I still won't be able to if I restore the ipod, which only erases the drive...

    tunf off the alarms, notification and the like. check in this forum for another thread about battery life, it goes into more detail. i had the same problem until i turned off notifications/alarms.
