ical alarms

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
I finally switched to ical from entourage as I want to sync my ipod.



However, there is one thing that keep bugging me. ical alarms are only activiated if my ibook is on and not put to sleep. Thus, if I set the alarm at 9am, but my ibbok is off, the alarm will never ring.



Constrast this with entourage, which will give u a delayed alarm, which is so much better.



Does anyone know whether ical alarms can be set in this same manner as entourage's alarms?

    I can honestly say I have never seen an iCal alarm. I'm about to go back to Entourage for calendars, contacts, and email.

    I have to agree. Behind the beautiful intertface, there is abosulutley nothing worth mentioning.



    Come on Apple, give me a dramatic ical update now!!!
