Well, with the ADC connections, everything is pretty expensive right now, in comparison with the 150-year-old VGA connectors.
I use a Dr. Bott for my VGA monitor (switching 3 computers). Simple, but works as advertised. Of course, I had another Dr. Bott switcher, where I had to apply the old soldering iron. There was minor quality issue with the switch, which bugs me.
