moving songs from iPod

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
My hard drive just died and I've got about 12gigs worth of songs on my iPod. I want to transfer them to the new hard drive, rather than spend hours reloading them. Anyone know how I can go about doing this? Thanks

    Tonton- Thanks for the info. I'm running OS 9.2. Is there any one of the programs that you referred me to that you think might work better than another with OS 9.2? Thanks
