Cars that have standard MP3 input jacks : NAME THEM!

It's the cupholder of the 2000's, the standard input jack that allows you to play your MP3 player (think iPod) through your car's standard stereo. So far I've seen this feature advertised on:

Honda Element

Mini Cooper

Have you folks seen any others with this feature?

I just wrapped up about a year of car research, and I can't say that any other car I looked at has it standard. You'll have to do a mod or get a custom head unit.

    Then there's always the cassette adapter. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

EDIT: By the way, I looked at damn near every car under $25,000 at one point or another, so I can be pretty sure about what I say.

Besides the two cars that I mentioned, I think that I may have heard it mentioned in conjunction with Volkswagons? Anyway, I know that Element and the Mini have that function. Two (or three) out of a hundred is a good start. What's that, about 3%?

Where have I heard that number before?

I got my car CD player for $120 and it has the input jack, but I haven'tused it yet. It's a Jensen and the rest of it works great, now I need to get an iPod to go with the input jack.

I have a $hitty aftermarket CD player (no brand name at all, blank) in my car and it has a 1/8" mini-jack input right on the front face plate and secondary rca inputs in the back. Worked fine from my MD player.

Just keep your eye out on car stereos, not cars

    Forgot to mention... '89 Camry

Honda Element and Mini Cooper ? ....

How 'bout we get this stuff on REAL CARS.... are their radio heads all built/designed with that much lead time that we have to wait YEARS to get such simple technology into cars?

This stuff ought to be in Suburbans and Expeditions and Caravans ... can you say "cars for teenagers who have this stuff"

Yeah, I heard something like that too. I think it was an upcoming (2004?) Golf with a slide-in adapter for the iPod.

2004 Saab 9-3 has the input (and I think it can be retrofitted in 2003s). Bluetooth is available in the 9-3s as well.
