Somebody should build a bluetooth watch

Remember the Timex Datalink watches? Imagine something like that with bluetooth. I was just setting my Timex Ironman Alarm to remind me when Law & Order Criminal Intent is on, and I was thinking it would be cool to Sync all my alarms and stuff with my watch.

Erm.... ok, maybe actually writing it out now, it's not so cool.

Any thoughts?

It might be better if you thought of it as a time-keeping personal electronic device that you wear on your wrist rather than a watch. In that case, you could sync it with iCal and everything, and have it tell you verbally or with text what event is being signaled. But it would have to be a bit bigger to fit the text on the screen and to fit the bluetooth module (I don't know how small those can get at this point).

Forgive my ignorance, what's an Ironman Alarm? Is it just extra loud, or does it do all sorts of ridiculously athletic stuff before breakfast?

I suspect that even as we speak somebody somewhere is cramming Bluetooth into a watch: think about the one with the huge LCD screen that talks to your 3G phone and relays your incoming video calls.
