Headphones for laptop?

Anyone got a good suggestion for some ear-bud style headphones to use with your laptop? I recently picked up some fairly cheap sony's. They have a small case that they spiral wind into, which is great for throwing them into my bag with my iBook. They sound pretty good too, however, the cord is too short for my tastes.

So what are you using?

I'm using a pair of Sony earbuds I picked up for about $15. They sound pretty nice, I guess ... better than any other headphones I've used, but I have very limited experience with such things.

I've had my Aiwa earbuds for six months or so (another pair for three months before then, but I broke them (el crusho) and got a refund and got a new pair). They sound fabulous and they come with a wind-up case too. Fairly long cord.

In my experience, Koss makes some of the best ones. There was a model I used for a while that actually had rubber/foam cones that went inside your ear. It really made the sound alot fuller, as well as keeping them from falling out....

However, in general I hate earbud style headphones. My pick would be the Optimus Pro-35's (if they are still selling em...). They're low profile, ie. not ear-muff style, but have some of the cleanest bass I have ever heard out of a pair of headphones. Go down to RadioShack and try a pair out....

I used to use my Panasonic earbuds that I got at Target for $3 and sound great, but recently I've been using my Sony headphones (the ones like in the iBook picture Apple had and the ones that like every teenager has)

I don't know if you can get the on their own, but the headphones from the iPod are amazing. If you can get those, I'd definitely recommend them.

I do agree that ear-buds aren't the best, but my Grados don't fit in my iBook bag!
