I want to see all the regulars post in this thread. Who came back...who didn't. Are you glad AI's back?

    Yeah, I'm DEFINITELY back! This is so cool. Everyone was doubting whether or not everyone would return, but I was certain once the word got out that people would find their way back.



    Even those who found other places to hang (I split my time between MacNN, Bad Flamingo and OrangeInsider) seemed eager to return here to AI, even if they still hang out at the other places as well.



    But as for me, I wanted this place back for so long (plus, I got tired of hopping between three vastly different forums), that I'm putting down stakes here for as long as they'll have me.







    The two people I haven't seen since AI has returned has been Palmberg and Mac O' the Isles.

    To me, it's very close, with just some minor tweaks and an updated, fresher looking masthead (with newer hardware).



    A few new smileys and a different typeface on the "Submit" and "New Thread" buttons, but it's far from hideous.



    Things change, but I like them.



    Most of the old crowd is here and, for better or worse, everyone seems to have fallen back into the old groove of things.



    It seems faster to me, as well.



    What is it that feels ruined?

    Mac O' the Isles is here somewhere. I saw him shooting off (in his lilting way) about how old he is over in the Age thread.



    No sign of Palmberg though.

    Cool, I'm glad were all back. These boards are so slow after being at IGN where you post a topic and you hit refresh and there's already like 5 reply's. Oh well...I hope the main page updates as well.
