Petition to give Appleinsider more publishing freedom
This is in regards to the iMac article that was pulled several days ago because it wasn't "cleared" first.
I think the people at Appleinsider should have more freedom when it comes to publishing articles and I think we should communicate that to whomever can change this policy.
I understand that there is a chain of command, but having to hold off on printing new insider information for days so that it can be approved by a higher-up is apparently interfering with Appleinsider's ability to post new information in a timely manner. If a news organization had to wait several days before publishing a breaking news article they would get scooped several times over.
I have just sent an Email to [email protected] stating this and I think anyone else that feels the same should also.
If there is a more direct way to contact someone that can change this policy, perhaps an administrator can post it.
