There are plenty of Mac Geniuses around to dissuade such people and go into long rants on the technical superiority of theMacintosh platform, which most trolls are incapable of matching. PCs are inferior machie.s

In my nearby Apple store, most people walk around as if they'd achieved a state of nirvana.

I sat in on an OS X demo, and a guy down the bench from me chimed in every 10 seconds with a "wow," "awesome" or "that is so cool." He definitely had drunk the Kool-Aid.

And if that doesn´t work they have small aerosol spray with mac-o-love hormones they descretly (yeah I know my spelling sucks) use against such types. If nothing else helps they have wodden clubs just under the genius bar and a man size hole that leads directly to the dungon under Steves house where he torture everyone with Tofu and spinning mac commercials until all they can say is "Macs are great, macs are great"

Since the Apple Store opened in Peabody, MA, I notice that the 'PC folks' try and avoid the mall altogether. They usually just hang around CompUSA and try their bashing there.

I think it would be strange for someone to walk into a store like that and start bashing the products they have there. In fact, they would probably have you escorted from the store/mall for doing so, as you are hurting their chances of making a sale.

I can't forget the time where I was in Best Buy, and an older couple wanted to buy an iMac. They asked the kid who was at the counter if he could get one down for them from the shelf, and bring it to the register. He told them he would be right back. As I was wandering around the store, I saw the guy standing by the back wall laughing with a bunch of other Best Buy employees on how stupid this couple was for buying an iMac. Then I heard them make a plan to sell them a Compaq instead. I walked back up to where the iMacs were, and by this time, the older couple had got the iMac off the shelf by themselves, and each were carrying a handle of the box. (By no means were these young people. Think of your grandparents trying to buy a computer.)

I was going to offer to carry it for them when the group of Best Buy employees came up to them. It looked like they were going to help the couple, so they put the iMac down. At that point, a Best Buy employee grabbed the iMac and said, "Oh, you don't want this." and walked it back to the shelf. The other Best Buy employees went into their sales pitch about the Compaq and how it was faster and had a better warranty and that "Apple is out of business already".

At this point, the older gentleman was visibly angry. He told them off in a few choice words, while his wife said that she had never had worse service in her life and with that, she wrote down their names and said she was going to write a letter of complaint to the manager. With that, she said, "Come on dear. We can get our computer in a better place than this."

    I thought it was classic.

Good for them. This couple probably knew their stuff a bit more than the Best Buy crew was used to...and got slammed by in the process.

The capper would've been if the older lady had said to the Best Buy brats: "you can take that piece of shit Compaq and cram it up your ass, zitboy. My husband and I would prefer a QUALITY product..."

Just as a last laugh, two of my most horrific "macs suck" guys come in and use my iMac to surf the net. One of them has had so much trouble trying to get video editing on a Pc, ( this guys keeps my school computers working) he has started talking about getting daddy to buy him a G4, (just for editing of course). Another PC diehard bites the dust. One down, one to go.

The only thing I have seen in the local Apple Store is Mac Users (like myself) bitching about how slow OS X is or was (depending on how you look at it) or the bugs in it and other products.
