Did anyone hear anything about the John Sculley anouncement that was supposed to take place today(according to ThinkSecret)? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
Sculley was going to announce a radical new concept in mobile computing; a handheld device that had handwriting recognition, ran a powerful object orientated OS that could link data intelligently and connect to a myriad of communications technologies.
Then someone reminded him that he had in fact did this 10 years ago in a package that was oversized and overpriced that very few people bought and was kicked in the face by a glorified Sharp Wizard-like "Palm Pilot" so we went back home.
No hint of it on any tech or general news sites I checked and searched, I also visited a few corporate websites for companies he's affiliated with. NADA. NOTHING. ZILCH.
I fully expect for there to be a Sculley announcement, just because Think Secret's stuff was pretty much on the money. I already did a scan for Sculley the other night and came back with very few things dated 2002, so maybe he's been out of the eye of the press for a while...who knows?

Now I can buy that beanie baby via wireless auction for less than the price of the call!! BFD. Scully''s name is in the toilet. what has he done since pushing Pepsi and a failed 80/90's apple strategy.
