Is it just me or are the forums going through blackouts?

Just today I have been unable to access these forums twice. Ushualy for a half hour or less. Am I messed up? Or is this just ushualy stress on the servers durring this time?

    I have had the same problem a few times today. i think that the recent Apple.com teasers have made traffic here heavy.

    I haven't noticed a problem with the forums, but the Java Chat kicked me out at one point. I was using the applet launcher.

    It probably isn't possible for even double traffic to bring down the server. There are still problems at the NOC (Network Operation Center) that need to be resolved. We will try to get them fixed before the 7th.



    P.S. The server itself has not been down since it was brought online 70-some days ago.

    I had one problem with the forums before, but what I'm upset about is that when I tried to get into the chat (both in IE and the Applet program is OS X) I couldn't. After I entered my name nothing happened even after 15 minutes.

    Good im glad its not my Opera5 wiggin out on me. Or Windows trying to sabatoge my Appleinsider experience.
