ok, the new iMac screams out to to be either used visually (on a desk, on a table or counter)or to be joked about.....which show will have one on first??? drew carey, ER, Frazier, Friends?? i would love to see it on the Simpsons....Homer could keep trying to firgure out how to "Turn this Darn Light ON!"....g

    I was just going to say that Nick Burns on SNL will mention it. He'll refer to the SuperDrive or the 15" LCD.

    Technically, TechTV was the first show to have the new iMac. They rolled one out on a cart to show off on Jan 7.

    There are also tonnes of macs on VIP. But i doubt it would be first to get one...are they still making new episodes of that show?

    What about MTV's Real World? In the past that show has always had a Mac for the computer they gave them. Recently I've noticed they've used PCs. This new iMac could be used in the new season or next one after that. Also, MTV uses Macs on everything there basically. I think on TRL they have a cube and maybe a Cinema Display???

    I have a feeling the Real World will stick with Sonys instead of Macs. Hopefully that won't be the case.



    Yeah, TRL's got a Cube (or used to have it, haven't seen it in a while) and a Cinema Display (I think, it looks bigger than 15" and I think they had it before the 17" was around).

    The upcoming season has already been shot/edited.



    MB next season tho.

    Has nothing to do with the new imac but since we mentioned the Real World before, the new season started tonight and they're back to using Macs.

    yeah, and mulder can come out of hiding and admit that he has been locked away with j. ives working on a new shell for the G5 and that the new iMac was really inspired by alien technology....g
