iphoto is a pretty decent app and a great cataloguer...BUT editing is somewhat weak with no brightness controls nor legitimate resolution focus/resizing. My photos were perfect resolution-wise until I imported them and now they are fuzzy even when resized. Does anyone have any tricks so I can have the same resolution that I did when the pics were NOT in iphoto library.

    It is strange how there doesn't appear to be an "original size" setting, so you're never sure where you are exactly, relative to the actual resolution of the picture. But the size appears under title and date on the left, so you can check to see if it's the same.



    Anyway, the originals are stored separately from any changes you make, so you can always go into iPhoto Library in your Pictures directory and retrieve the originals. Or just "Revert to Original" under the file menu.
