Opening Partially Transferred Folder

Hello All,

 

I was transferring data from one external hard drive to another when the sender harddrive was dropped and damaged. One folder (10GB) which containing multiple other folders was partially sent (75%). I am now left with a folder that I cannot seem to open, although I bet some of the files within the folder were transferred successfully . The file icon is greyed out and begins with a ~. Is there anyway to dig into this partially transferred folder to retrieve some of the data?
