What if Apple made iTunes for the PC--but charged for the PC version and/or bundled it with the iPod?
Suddenly, PC users are installing and experiencing the brilliance of Apple software (and hardware if they got an iPod). Suddenly, they don't have an ignorant, irrational hatred of Apple. In fact, they suddenly find they LIKE Apple gear. Now Apple has gained a toehold in the PC world and is winning the hearts and minds of PC users through firsthand experience.

If Apple bought CompUSA, Best Buy, Circuit City, Frys, etc. then they might be able to sway the public. What's each market cap for those I wonder.
