New Mac User Here...

Hi All,

just to say I have been a convert for almost a full year now (bought my Ti g4 500 in Feb. 2001)and I have been very pleased with it. Not too bad of a learning curve coming from the winblows pc world, actually much easier to operate and all my add on gear (camera, cdrw, ipod etc.) works when you hook it up unlike wintel machines. Anyway, I have been very informed and entertained by this forum sight and unlike some here who have a crystal ball to see what Apple will do next I will patiently wait and watch for more good things to happen. Looking forward to some more upgrades on the Powerbook lineup and the new or upgraded PM. So hello to all and let's just have fun!

    Good to hear you have had a good experience converting to mac! yes AppleInsider is a nice place - hope it stays up this time

    I, too, was a die-hard PC guy who converted to Mac. Happily I've been converted a good 9 years now.

    Good to hear from you, Robert P. I used to be one of you too, and now even though I still use a WinPC more often than I use a Mac (100% PC usage at work, and about 75/25 Mac/Pc ratio at home) I still consider myself a Mac crusader. Don't worry, the transition from "new user" to zealot is an easy one!

    BTW. The new imac design is ridiculous, in spite of having my old g3 333.

    Dear Macintosh:



    Regardless you have the name, I think that you should not get into a discussion with me, I love mac computers and since its first release, I was there, making my efforts to contribute with its diffusion.



    The reason for putting a post here, was merely a question of remembrance, when in the past I was a registered member with lots of posts.
