New iMac shipping problem.

Is Apple shipping all iMacs by air or are they going by ground? If they are going by ground then they will take an extra week to reach me after the ship date! I thought someone said that Apple was air freighting them because they need to get out as many as possible as fast as possible? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I recall reading that they would initially be brought to the us by air, rather than ship until they had a sufficient number over here. as to how they would be shipped once they are on us soil, i have never heard.

ground shipping is free, and 2 Day FedEX costs extra (from Apple Store)
