I was wondering where everyone goes to buy stuff (software, hardware, etc) online? prefereably somewhere that is cheap and reliable?

    I've bought computer related stuff from <a href="http://shop1.outpost.com/template/index/"; target="_blank">Outpost</a>, <a href="http://www.clubmac.com"; target="_blank">Club Mac</a>, <a href="http://www.macmall.com"; target="_blank">MacMall</a>, and of course <a href="http://www.apple.com"; target="_blank">Apple</a>. There's a few other sites too but these are the ones I use most often.

    I used to buy from Outpost, but they now apply sales tax to any orders placed in states where they have a Fry's retail presence.



    ClubMac and MacMall are also in California. I usually only go for mail-order when I can evade sales tax or find an incredible deal from a mail order catalog in-state.



    zones.com and macconnection.com are outside California, I think. I order a surprising amount of stuff from Amazon.com. I also order from OWC (macsales.com) and CDW and other places...
