Problems with ORiNOCO Card

I just got a Lucent WaveLAN Silver Card, and I installed the ORiNOCO software and the AirPort software, but neither works! The card shows up on the desktop and has the correct logo, but when I try to use either the AirPort or ORiNOCO software, it can't find the card! I'm using an original PowerBook G3 (1997). Any thoughts?

    What OS are you using? The card will work with Apple's software under OS9 but not OSX. If you want OSX support you can get the drivers over at sourceforge.

    I'm using OS 9.1. I know that the card works, because I tested it on a PC.
