iPad Mini refuses to update apps.

Just recently my iPad Mini has refused to update any app.

 

YouTube app has also refused to work and when I tried deleting and reinstalling it I couldn't download it from the App Store. Tried updating apps on software update but they spin for a second or two then return to the "update" status.

 

Tried logging out of my iTunes account and now it won't log in again!  "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".

 

WTF?

    Is your iPad running low on storage? Check in settings > general > usage. If so, free up some space. If not, try quitting the store by going into multi-tasking (double-tap home) when it's in the background, tap-hold until the minus shows over the App Store and close it. Then relaunch. Lastly, if those don't work, force reboot the iPad by holding the home button and power button until it shuts off and shows the Apple logo - keep holding the buttons even when the slide to power off shows up and let go when you see the Apple logo.
