RE: Pegasus 2 diskless power issues

Hi,

 

Just got the Pegasus 2 r4 diskless. Put in 4 2tb toshiba drives from the compatibility list for the one with disks. (figured this was a good bet). The system powers up, then shuts down. Have disconnected all the drives and it still does this.

 

Is this a hardware safeguard - will only run with listed disks? Or is the device defective?
