does anyone think that there will be an update to the tiBooks? seems like an updated iBook is out of the question, but is there any information about the tiBooks? i know they were just updated, but will they add more punch? will they lower the price now that tft screen prices are coming down? will they bump up the speed again? thoughts?

I think we will see an updated PowerBook. Maybe a speed bump but probly for sure a video memory bump. ATI 7500 chip which is currently in the PowerBook can have a maximum of 64MB DDR ram. The Alienware Area 51 notebook already uses this chip. The powerbook should be bump to 64MB of video ram at Macworld New York.

Oh god here we go again, HELLO PEOPLE!!! <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

Apple does not bump one of it's lines twice in 3 months (April-July) They have never, ever done this, ever.

They wont do it now either. We could see some thing septemberish, but remember they dont have any low power G4's faster than 800Mhz so what will they use, an Athlon?!
