What's The Point?
I don't have cable but if I did, why would I use the Apple TV to view a cable channel on the same TV my cable is connected to? Are people really going mobile with their Apple TV and need to view their ratty a$$ third rate cable channels via this little hockey puck?
Seriously, there is a ton of potential for paid viewing of cable channels and I realize the cable companies have a lock on the content so Apple can't offer it but what's the point of serving it up second hand? If I have to have a cable subscription to view it, there is no value to viewing it on Apple TV. These added channels just clutter the screen with icons that serve no real purpose.
