I just got  my Mac pro Laptop, me and my buddies want to play Need for Speed Hot pursuit 2 on multiplayer. I really love the game, we used to play it when I had my windows. All the others have windows I am the only one with Mac. I got the cider version of the game.

the game works now, the problem is I cannot connect on multiplayer with the others, I have no idea how to find the source of the problem. If anybody could help me it would be great, really appreciate any response....!!!

The ports like this emulate what Windows is doing with the graphics but they don't emulate everything. They probably didn't bother sorting out the networking part.

The best options would be Parallels/VMWare or Bootcamp:

If you plan to do a lot of gaming, be aware the OS takes up around 15GB. Windows 7 64-bit is a good choice to go with. Modern games top out at around 50GB per game so a 70GB partition would let you install pretty much any game. Most games are under 30GB so you'd get away with a 50GB partition but you'll miss out on some games that way.
