Hilarious. The article did have a link to photos but it wasn't working...maybe trying an omelet?

    lol, I read about that on Ars about a week ago. The guy said he didn't worry much about frying the egg *and* the CPU because it was a "disposable" XP1500+. Whatever that means.



    Anyway, I downloaded one of the pics.

    My iBook had some issues with heat before the last time I sent it in to get repaired. One time it was just "on", doing nothing, and was overheating. So I took a pop tart, wrapped it in foil, and stuck it under the left side of the iBook (the hottest part) for about 10 minutes. When I removed the pop tart from the foil, it was perfectly cooked!!! Yummy too!! It even beat the toaster!! One time OS X even froze - that's how hot it was getting. And it actually burnt my leg a bit another time.



    Luckilly, though, those heat problems are gone. But now my iBook is back in repair again...
