Boycott Disney ...
... or Boycott any real use of your computer for the rest of your life ...
No Sh!t, Eisner (Disney's Grand PooBah) wants hardware copy protection on your machine, he wants it now, and he wants you thrown in jail if you try to do anything about it.
Don't believe me? Here's a brief news summary on the item:
"Congressional hearings on the draconian SSSCA bill were held yesterday...this is the bill that would force copy-protection onto computers and put people in jail for five years if they disabled this on their own machines."
This guy is specifically going after Apple, and their Rip, Mix & Burn campaign ... so what if you already own the CD, that doesn't matter ...it's still theft!
It's old media vs new media folks, and old media is buying all the friends it can in Washington to see that you'll pay $20 for every copy protected CD forever, as for innovation?
Kiss your Gnutella bye-bye ...
Or just Boycott Disney.
It's really that simple

I mean, hey!, we bought this stuff, let us enjoy it. It is not like people are not going to go to movies anymore. Isnt it also true that CD sales have gone up in the past few years?
I know, personally, if I hear a song and I really like it, and I have downloaded it, I want to go out and buy the rest of the album. I have done it with many bands, most recently, tonight: Lord of The RINGS!
