FP iMac and AOL

I was wondering if any other FP iMac owners have experienced a slow down in AOL compared to an older mac with the same settings. My DVSE would normally connect about 46 bbs and now my FP iMac connects at 40 bbs to 44 bbs. The only thing that has changed is the computer. Any thoughts beyond AOL sucks?

    Maybe the modem in the iMac sucks?
