What is up with the new MacWorld Magazine design?

They changed it about two years ago and I thought that was a great idea.

I thought it was a special issue. Yet, it isnt

It has a look to it like the magazines that Time sends out called Time Digital.... it reminds me a ton of it.

Well, I think they should go back to the old design. I am very confused and Mad

Is this new? They changed their design about a year ago...is this the first time you've seen it?

Or is my issue just around the corner with a brand new layout?

It looks fine to me. Cleaner looking. It does not have a lot of ad suport as compared to PC generic magazines so it tends to be a little anemic in page count. They won't go back and don't be mad. Save that for more important things!

I fail to see the big deal. Pentagram basically just refined the layout and graphics, while Rick LePage has refined the purpose and topics covered in the magazine. Seems like a cleaner and more purposeful magazine. Sure, it's no longer the "all-things-Mac" publication it used to be, but this is what you have to do when you have a relatively small target audience (though there are plenty of periodicals with far smaller circulation) and the internet sites to compete with.
