Apple / BBC / UK Government Report
OK, this is most interesting if you're in London.
In December last year, a UK Government-sponsored (Department of Trade and Industry) mission went to the West Coast of the US tasked with writing a report about the future of digital music. They visited loads of companies, including Apple, MS, SONICBlue, Universal, blah blah blah blah.
Apparently, Apple impressed greatly. Certainly, they were invited to present a demonstration of their technology during the unveiling of the report, which is taking place on March 12 at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, London (a beautiful 1930's theatre).
And you know what? It's free to attend to interested parties.
I know it's long, but here's the details if you're interested. It doesn't mention Apple's participation below but they are there.
