A great mystery to me

This is a most obvious question to Mac users, but what is the deal with the cube? Why isn't it sold anymore, and why is everyone always mocking it... Mainly what's the whole scoop on it. I'm sorry this is such a n00b question. Please try to forgive me. Thanks.

    it failed because it was too expensive, people weren't so willing to sacrifice speed for style as jobs would have believed.



    now they go for about a grand on ebay... you can hack them up to fit a gf3 and dual processors if you can get your hands on a dual proc mobo.

    I wonder what happend to the Cubes that weren't sold. Were they destroyed?
