Just upgraded from 10gb to 15gb on AT&T for same price...
This is the second time in the past year AT&T has offered either a lower price or more value for the same price (that you had to know about and opt-in for) for the Mobile Share/Value plans. Earlier this year the Mobile Share plans went down in cost, now 50% more data for same price.
I had felt I needed to double check with them to make sure there were no strings attached.
The representative said it's to help our customers and to be competitive with the other providers. So thankful for competition. If AT&T and T-Mobile had merged, none of this would have happened.
Had it not been for AppleInsider, I wouldn't have heard about this new offering. Just as of TODAY is the 15gb for 10gb plan available, yesterday it was only as low as 30gb for the 15gb price, which as of yesterday was 20+ more per month than the 10gb plan, no thank you.
