A third party PPC motherboard running Linux?

If I'm not mistaken, a 750CX is a G3, the same in the ol' CRT iMacs. So, this is a PPC board designed to run Linux, and the evaluation board is only $4000

    Slashdot had an article about Amiga Developer PPC boards. They were going for about $500 I think. It was posted this week, go take a look
