My kids got new ipods for Christmas. When setting up, I used my apple id & now I'm getting all their texts & app downloads on my phone. I tried to set up Create Apple ID for child for Family Share, but when I get to the screen with Credit Card Required, it tells me I have one on file, then there are no other options but to Cancel or go Back?!!!!

I tried just setting up their own regular apple ids on iTunes, but that isn't working either?!! This is all after I was basically forced into a system reset yesterday, losing all my Christmas pics on my iphone. About to be done with Apple!!!!!!!

So YOU set up their iPods with YOUR appleID, and you're upset with apple because it's working exactly the way it's supposed to???

You need to sign out their devices from iCloud, iTunes, and FaceTime (all in Settings App, I believe.)

Then sign them back in using only their personal AppleID (not yours).

THEN, on YOUR phone, set up your ID as the master for a family.  Next you can go to their phones and request to join Family Share, which you'll have to approve with a password, or on your own device.

I'm just typing this from memory ... check apple.com if I'm wrong.
