Itunes Home Sharing Question

Hello,

 

I'm currently trying to use a feature that I'm not sure if exists with Itunes on a mac and PC.  

 

With "Home Sharing" enabled, I'm looking for the option to change the track "Rating" on my PC and with all my music stored on my mac-book pro.  It does show me the "Star" count, but does not allow me to edit or replace it.  Tried all the settings including "Home sharing Computers update play counts"

 

I was thinking about having my PC itunes library point to my "Itunes Library" on my macbook over the network, but I'm not sure if that will screw anything up. 

 

Any advice would be helpful!
