Restore appdata from iCloud backup
Hello,
In the past I've played some games on my iPod touch, but I did removed the apps. I did backup the appdata to iCloud with the iCloud backup option in my iPod's system settings. Now I really want to play the games from where I left off again, but when I download one of the apps again none of my progress or high-scores is present.
I've did some research, and it seems like to only way to put the data backup on my iPod is to completely reset my device and restore it with the iCloud backup option.
I'm willing to do that, but I'm concerned that I will lose all savadata of a game that's currently installed on my iDevice.
All of the apps I'm talking about doesn't support in-app save to iCloud, but I did backup them to iCloud using the iCloud backup option in my iPod's settings.
So my question is; when I reset and restore my iPod using iCloud backup, will I get the progress of the games back I'd removed, and not lose the progress of games I've currently installed on my iPod (that are backup'ed to iCloud)?
Thanks!

Solved it. I can't find an option to remove this topic.
What route did you go to restore the data? Some others might have the same issue.

I backed up my current app data with iExplorer (just to be safe), after that I'd restored an iCloud backup from a year ago, I'd copied the savadata from the apps that were recovered using iExplorer to my computer, after that I did restored a recent backup, and did copy the savadata from my computer to my iPod again using iExplorer.
No savadata was lost, and also all savadata was recoverd.
The only thing that didn't went well is that my photo backup download from iCloud seems to be stuck.
