Mirror image copy and iCloud
I have a mirror image backup of my hard drive from a few days ago that I may need to copy back to my Apple Air. Question: If I copy over a backup that is a few days old, when iCloud syncs with the my computer, will my computer reflect what is currently in iCloud (which means it will have files that have been updated in the last few days), or will iCloud reflect what is on my computer, which means that I will lose files that were created/changed in iCloud during the past few days?
I actually have the same question as it relates to Dropbox is anyone has any insight on that as well.
Thanks.

iCloud syncs real time for me. If you created a disk image, the reason to do so would be for a catastrophic restore.
If.....
Wait, when you say Apple air, do you mean MacBook Air or iPad Air
Thanks for the response Ex_Spy_Guy. My device is a MacBook Air. I think I was a bit unclear in my question. It relates to whether iCloud or the device has precedence when syncing files. So, for example, if I were to use iCloud to save certain files, but then, for whatever reason, used Time Machine to recover earlier versions of a those same files, when iCloud synced with my device would the version of the flies 'recovered' from Time Machine overwrite the versions of the files in iCloud or vice versa? Hope that is a bit clearer. Thanks again.
