Assuming I don't have a CD to boot off of, is there a way to bypass the main user account in OS 9.0? I don't have the password and I need to log in as the user that has administrative access. Starting up with extensions off still requires the password. Can anyone help?

How can you not have a startup disc? Trying to hax0r your school's computers to do things you aren't allowed to? These types of barriers are put in place for a reason... if that's the case, don't expect much help from around here.

    Alright you caught me

Truth is, I was trying to get around it on a school machine (lonely little strawberry iMac in a room full of black Dell boxes), and it got me wondering if it's doable. If I really wanted to get around it, I obviously do have system disks and the like. Anyway, whatever...

I'm in the same boat, except for it's my computer and for some reason it won't boot off a cd. Any ideas?

Simple, steal the admin. password. Nothing good timing, mirrors, and a good memory can't fix.
