If you are feeling adventurous, you can dissolve the paint off the panels with 90+% isopropyl alcohol. (I assume the G3 panels are painted on the inside like the G4s... I could be wrong.) I did it with my G4 a while back:

The Skinz go over your existing panels. The clear ones are for a custom paintjob. The G3 panels look glazed like they cannot be dissolved. Has anyone tried G3 panels before. That clear look like starfleetx showed is what I want.
