update/restore

i have an iphone 5s which was jailbroken i tried to restore to get rid off the jailbreak and update to ios8.3 but when i went to restore it got stuck on the "boot screen" i need help.

 

i also have an iphone 5c jailbroken as well i tried to update to ios8.3 but now its stuck on the "itunes coonnect screen"

 

please help its my only phone and i cant afford a new one

    Is the phone connected to a computer running iTunes with a USB cable? If your screen shows like below it is asking you to do that:

    May be a good idea to try another USB cable, i have found they can be fragile and break if you are not carefull
