Apple Expo 2002 Paris

Is anyone around here going? I'm going and I think ZO is, we thought it'd be cool to meet up.

Pretty much a given that Jaguar will be released there.

    I may go as well. I'm yet to get confirmed if I can get some days off from work but most likely I'll be driving down there. Are computer purchases possible on Apple Expos? A friend who will probably be buying a new Mac in the fall will be going with me.

    YES you can buy computers at Apple expo, at least at the last Apple expo i went in 1999.

    Hey guys, I'll definitely be there... unless something else catastrophic happens.



    Also, if I'm living there by then (please everyone keep their fingers crossed! I might go and work with.... nah, can't say it) and I have a couch or at least a floor, some of you are definetly invited to crash over



    And yes, they do sell computers, peripherals, etc. Local resellers setup a stand and sell everything they can. Also small stands sell stuff and usually at better prices.



    Thats me (with blue plaid shirt) and a friend making stupid movies for a friend that couldn't make it at the 2000 show.

    Hmmm, the Apple-Expo only lets you select for the Expo... they say that Keynote Enrollment will start on June 17th. Thats weird... I can enroll for the expo now but not the Keynote?? Hope they send me an email to remind me.



    Apple-Expo Paris 2000 was also when MacOS X Public Beta was released... I remember how proud I was when I was one of the first people in the world to have it!



    Ah, the little things in life



    So, yes, "Late Summer" for Apple means Paris.



    Whew, FOUR FULL months to get Jagwire (why in the HELL does JObs call it that???) nicely tuned up... and hopefully save my iBook's life. Otherwise, out my baby goes and well... something else gets bought.

    yep, its totally free to visit the expo and the keynote as well. Im not 100% sure if you can walk in at the door last minute (surely not for the keynote, it must be pre-advanced) to the expo.
