Cross platform apps are a great idea. It benefits everyone. Think of the $$$ Micrsoft and Apple made when MS Office Apps were released for IOS. I hear new Android Smart Watches and Apps via Wifi / Cloud; one can leave their phone at home (for example) and if there is a Wifi Connection (at home) and near your smart watch location; one can pick up phone calls from longer distances. This means no Simcard required for the smart watch. Possible? I'm not an electronics engineer but one has to wonder; if my iphone is connected to Icloud and so is my future smartwatch can I leave my iphone at home and use only the smartwatch...or using handoff(?) from the Imac to the Icloud to the SmartWatch literally create a cell phone VPN.
