Windows CDFS CDs Unreadable by Macs?
Remember when Macs could read ALL disk formats? I used to laugh at Windows users who couldnt see Mac disks or other formats...
Well lately my company has gotten a TON of random CDs in from clients, vendors, customers etc that can't be read by any Mac, but read fine on Windows 98, 2000, NT, etc.
The format is "CDFS". I can't read them on my OS X or OS 9 Macs, including the Macs with DVD drives, combo drives and Super Drives.
What is CDFS? Can I get drivers/extensions that will allow this type of disk to be read on Macs?
If this kind of platform incompatability increases, I will be forced to quit using Macs and get PCs. "Dude, I'm getting a Dell" (and losing my soul)
