Why no QT broadcasts?
Why have there been no QT broadcasts of Stevie's last two speeches/keynotes thingys!?
I enjoy watching them late at night, yet, the latest one is the MacWorld SF from...January!
What is the "dilio"?

IIRC, the only keynotes that are broadcasted are from the MacWorld expos. WWDC events are reserved for paying developers. Special events like today's are, well, special in that Apple doesn't need to make a big fuss about it.
Remember: buying bandwidth to stream video over the Akamai network does not come cheap!! Apple may have a stake in their business, but I'm sure they still have to pay a pretty penny for the extra bandwidth used around the big events.
Yet, for the iceBook, they did have the questions
weird....
Yet, they did it for the iPod, however, they cut it off before he could answer questions.
Yet, for the iceBook, they did have the questions

Yes, BUT you are forgetting a major commonality there: the iPob and iBook were both targeted at consumers and the wider computing public. The Xserve is a niche of a niche market! Those who are interested don't need publicity shots; they just need the specs that are already listed on Apple's website.

booya StarFellét

Eh? I still stand by my reasoning, as it is still quite valid. If Apple had announced there would be a live stream, Akamai's servers would have been *slammed* with requests. By postponing the stream, Apple has let the news spread out so only the "hardcore" Apple fans (such as yourself) and people actually interested in purchasing Xserve will want to watch it.
You are so hardcore, Nebagakid.
You seen Ep II yet?
