Right now, mac.com is down.



I can't get email at all. I wonder why it is down.

    iTools is down too -- check Apple's web site.



    They give no explanation AT ALL and no return ETA.

    Actually, this is a planned outage, as noted in the May 2 iTools update:

Your iDisk will remain accessible through the Mac OS X Go menu and through the Mac OS 9 Chooser menu.     Whew, I thought I was in more serious trouble with that password thing. I tried "trashing" all my Mailboxes and prefs (I didn't actually delete any of it), and it still kept asking for authentication incessantly. Write this one up as another bug in Mail.

    I wonder if they moved everything over to Xserves and Xserve RAIDs?
