MS using scare tactics

    Companies do whatever is profitable for them. Apple needs the open-source community to like OSX, so they go in that direction.

    They have to take that tack, because their line in the antitrust trial is that some of their code is so bad that releasing it will reveal huge, embarrassing vulnerabilities... like Outlook. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />



    Security through obscurity doesn't work - especially not the way MS designs software.



    I'm just waiting for someone to compare Windows' (any flavor) security to OpenBSD's. It'll be fun to watch them squirm.

    Instead, they should really be pushing Linux as the OS of choice to the defense department.
