Apple G4 Tower Rebates....

Do these rebates which end around mid July point to moving out "old" merchandise to make room for new towers? Curious as to what others think of this rebate.

P.S. I am NOT refering to the Powermac+Flatpanel combo rebate, just the one for purchasing a G4 Tower.

    Of course they do. And notice that the rebates never go right up to the MW date. That is so people do not go and buy one the day before the show and then get really pissed the next day.



    Of course this doesn't mean that will not happen. Before I followed Apple closely I bought a B&W G3 a month before Seybold when the G4 was released. DOH!
