iTunes 12.3 "A communication error has occurred. iTunes will try to connect again soon."

Happens every time I open iTunes since downloading 12.3 (2012 Mac Pro, OS 10.10.5). Very annoying and frustrating. Apparently (from googling it) it is affecting both Mac and Windoze versions of iTunes. Anyone else having issues, and more importantly, found a fix?

    Apple should start to fix these problems before they come out with these so called updates of theirs.The new i tunes stinks!

    I have a problem by trying to import from cd even if I can play the record normally. Is anybody having the same problem? I know... I am the strange guy still buying cds but I love objects and you should look at the pack of the Beach House new record to understand me...
